TirzaSema exists to help people compare GLP-1 treatment options and prices honestly. Our topics affect people’s health and money, so we hold our content to the standards below.
Our principles
- Accuracy first. Health claims are based on reliable primary sources, and prices are checked and dated.
- Independence. Advertisers and affiliate partners do not control what we write, how we score or how we rank.
- Transparency. We show who wrote each page, who reviewed it, when it was last updated and how we make money.
- Helpfulness. We write for readers, not for search engines, and we only publish content that adds something genuinely useful.
Who creates our content
Every review and guide names its author and shows when it was last updated. When a page has been reviewed by a licensed healthcare professional, the reviewer’s name, credentials and review date appear on the page. If no medical reviewer is shown, the page has not been medically reviewed. We never invent reviewers, credentials or testing that did not happen.
Sources we use
We rely on primary and authoritative sources, including:
- FDA prescribing information, drug labels, safety communications and approval announcements
- Peer-reviewed clinical trials and systematic reviews published in recognized medical journals
- Guidance from public health bodies such as the CDC and NIH, and from professional medical societies
- Official pricing, terms and policies published by manufacturers, pharmacies and telehealth providers
We link to our sources on the page so you can check them yourself. We do not treat anonymous forum posts or marketing claims as evidence for medical facts.
How we research providers and prices
Our evaluation process is documented in full on our How We Review page. Prices are collected from providers’ public websites and, where possible, confirmed during the sign-up process. Every price shows the date it was last verified.
Keeping content up to date
GLP-1 pricing and availability change quickly. We review key pages on a regular schedule and update them when prices, approvals, safety information or provider policies change. Each page shows when it was last updated, and pages that have not been reviewed within 12 months are flagged for an update.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools to help with tasks such as organizing research, summarizing public documents or checking grammar. Every page is written or substantially edited, fact-checked and approved by a human editor before it is published, and a named person is accountable for it. AI tools are never used to invent experiences, test results, reviews or credentials.
Corrections
If we make a mistake, we fix it. You can report an error through our contact page. We review every report, and when we confirm an error we correct the page promptly. Significant corrections, such as a wrong price, dose or safety fact, are noted at the bottom of the page with the date of the correction.
Independence from advertisers
Some links on our site are affiliate links, and our commercial relationships are explained on our Affiliate Disclosure page. Partners cannot review or approve our content before it is published, and they cannot pay for a better score or ranking position.
Reader reviews
Reader reviews are moderated before they appear. We do not edit reviews to change their meaning, we do not publish reviews written or paid for by providers, and we do not selectively remove negative reviews. Reviews that contain personal health information, abuse or promotional content may be rejected.
